

Q: Who is VILLAGE for?

A: We designed this service for postpartum and working parents in need of home care and cooking help. If you are absolutely slammed during the week, ill, or simply need time (and sanity!) back in your life, this is for you.


Q: What services can I book?


A: During this pilot we are testing child care, cooking and home care services. These can be booked as a bundle via Concierge.

Q: What makes VILLAGE different?
A: VILLAGE is our solution to reducing the mental load. We thoroughly vet every babysitter, cleaner and chef that is currently in our network, so you wouldn't have to do a single Google search. We coordinate across multiple services, to give you the most relief and time back into your day. And we schedule these for you, so you don't have to.


Q: How does it work?

A: To start with any of our packages, begin a request on Book Your Village so we can understand your family's needs. You can use any of the packages available, or we can build it custom for you. We'll then assemble a rescue team of help and share the quote so you know exactly what you're getting and when (according to your schedule).


Q: What if I want to extend the duration of help?
A: Love your Village team after your first week? You can choose to "lock in" your team weekly or for a month at a discounted rate by opting into the Standard package.




Q: How far in advance do I have to book?

A: Bookings at this time need to be requested at least 10 days in advance.


Q: I am concerned about the trust and safety of people coming into my home. Can you share more on your process and vetting system?
A: All providers are vetted and brought on by our VILLAGE Mayors panel, consisting of families who live in Manhattan and Brooklyn. All providers have had 3 or more sessions with our panel and have at least 2 referrals. Over time, the VILLAGE network will grow based on the users recommendations, all of which are referred by someone who is part of the VILLAGE network. Quality of service is also being surveyed and monitored after every session to ensure providers meet our high quality standard of care.

A: Thank you for referring! We rely on referrals to grow our trusted community. To refer someone, you can have them submit an application via this link. Please ask them to include your name and contact details in the referral section, so we can also get your feedback on their quality of care.
